New Ongoing Sport Specific Training Program for Fall 08!
Training takes place at varying Locations in the Culpeper, Virginia and surrounding area
Tri Training is for men and women who want to join together
for triathlon training to improve fitness levels, have fun and
successfully complete a sprint triathlon. This six-week training
program is for beginner and intermediate
triathletes and will focus on preparation for specific triathlon races.
First session will be held on August 30, 2008.

COACH: Vivian Arenas
Vivian has over 18 years experience in the sport of triathlons. She also has
experience in professional cycling and track and field. Vivian is a
USAT
Level I Triathlon Coach as well as a Level II
spin instructor. Her coaching experience includes multiple
triathlon clinics such as Danskin and Reebok tri training.
Most importantly, she understands the challenges involved in
balancing family, work, and fitness. As a wife, mother of two,
dental hygienist, and a competitive athlete, Vivian
offers coaching and training in a fun environment that helps
each athlete experience the wonderful feeling of accomplishment
that comes with participating in triathlons.
Both members and non-members are welcomed.

TRAINING FOR A 5K OR 10K ROAD RACE
This is an 8 week training program to prepare you to race the
Rapidan 5 or 10K and other road races thru out the fall. All ability
levels are welcomed from walkers to joggers to runners.

Race Training
Get ready to run with Coach Vivian Arenas’ weekly training program on
Tuesdays from 6:15-7:15 pm (starts 8/5/08)
Program includes:
- Running form/efficiency
- Heart rate monitor usage
- Post-run stretching
- Hydration/nutrition
- Picking the right shoes
- Keeping the mental edge
First session will be at Powell Wellness Center in Culpeper.
Subsequent workouts will be on the beautiful rubberized track at the new
Culpeper High School
Eastern View High School.
